Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On Tuesday February 16, 2021 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Palmer Plantation MUD No. 2 Public Water System PWS ID 0790323 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking or human consumption purposes.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of February 23, 2021.

If you have questions concerning this matter you may contact Mr. James Wagner, water system official or Primary contacts, Joe Taylor, Hector Acevedo or Leonard Hansen at 281-499-5539, 3134 Cartwright Road Missouri City, Texas 77459, email: customercare@quailvalleyud.org

This Boil Water Notice was issued as a precautionary measure due inclement weather related issues causing a loss of pressure below 20 psi. There were NO broken pipes that allowed contamination into the system. If this notice needs to be translated to Spanish, please contact 281-499-5539. The control system and disinfection systems have been restored within hours of the loss of pressure and the system has maintained pressure since that initial event. If a customer, individual or employee wishes to contact the executive director, please call 512-239-4691.
